Ok all of us love our 6gc, but what other toyota cars do you all like?

I really like the Solara I really don't know why but I just do.

With the current toyotas out there, I think I would buy the Celica GT-S and maybe the Matrix. I like the Highlander too.

Check out

http://www.japvillage.co.uk/show.php?id=17...df88d20b65454b8

This is my ultimate Toyota....(Donations welcome) biggrin.gif

This side of the atlantic people have a thing for a
Lexus IS200, this was of course formerly the Toyota Altezza.
Doesn't look too bad when it has a decent bodykit, are
these popular where you are?

Nah man, East Coast wise I've only heard of the IS300 which may be what your talking about with a typo...yea, the "altezza", I definitely want one. Not too popular in NY though, I think mainly because it's small, expensive, and rear wheel drive (not the best in winter).

This is a good one to dredge.. I like MR2's (Wouldn't own one though as being a former motorcyclist it would make more sense to just own a motorcycle--performance&safety), I like Toyota Supra JZA70 & JZA80, I love Toyota Soarer JZZ30 (And would give up my Celica SS-III for it in manual transmission, unfortunately these are worth two of my car), I also like the Trueno/Levin cars (AE86 Trueno GT-Apex with popup lights, AE101 Trueno or Levin GT-Apex and GT-Z supercharge, AE111 Trueno or Levin BZ-R 6 Speed) but even though they are quicker than the Celica, the small size of them and their tiny 1600cc engines makes them a little TOO girly for me as though the Celica isn't girly enough. Love the new TRD Hilux.. lol the commercial is reason enough to get one tongue.gif --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w9Z0z1NNOc...re=related'

I'm actually going to attempt to buy a Supra when I get back home! It is my dream car but we'll see how that goes! Apaprently insurance is extremely low for one for me so why not. Other than that I think either an old Corolla or possibly an MR-2 (not the newest). If only I could bring a GT-4 home with me...

I actually bought a 1st gen Solara so I guess I agree with Mac in the 1st post.

Other than that:
a '97 Supra TT 6-spd in the Limited Edition 6P3 green (same color as my Celica biggrin.gif)
and a '91-93 MR2 Turbo 5-spd in Aquamarine Pearl (the blue-ish green color)

I guess that's all the 90s 2dr sporty cars Toyota made in the US... besides the Tercel Blackhawk haha

I think if your really worried about the insurance, you shouldnt get a supra. I'd be more worried of parts and repair costs imo.

also on the list is a mkii mr2 turbo, sc300/400 swapped with a 2jzgte. the is300 would also be a swap candidate (there's not enough power out of the NA 1jz imo) and rebadged to be a toyota altezza. oh and a mk4 supra tt targa of course. any color will do.

A few ST205's Have made it to the US. There is hope. laugh.gif
A few conversions too...

> the Lexus Altezza 2.0 Turbo,

The Altezza was never offered in turbo trim from the factory.

There are kits though. biggrin.gif

I Thought Dodge created the minivan ? biggrin.gif
How about a 3sgte in an Previa All_Trac ?

If we are Dreaming; how about a new Matrix S- AWD converted to manual with an GT4 tranny and a turbo kit for the
2AZ-FE ? there are turbo Scions around.

Regards;

Another Toyota? Hmmmm. I don't want to answer Supra because thats given.

I would kind of like an AE111 Corolla Levin BZ-R

I don't know why, but when I move to japan I think I want that. tongue.gif

i have a '90 All-Trac, 97 GT, 2001 GT-S and a 97 Supra. i sold my 91 MR2 for the Supra

I wish I were you.

I plan on getting a Supra in the distant future. I want to keep my car and hopefully have a GT4 one day from this one. But if not, the only other cars I would take regarding "Toyota" would be AE86 or MR2. Just because for other sporting purposes, I would want to keep them all Toyota, to make up for "The Darkside" when I get my Mazda FD (2011, grad present to myself).

and finally:
IS300 with that nice Charcoal Grey or silver or black - not too picky on that one to get a 2JZ-GTE swap biggrin.gif

And maybe a few more Toys later:
SupraTT Black
MR2T Black, Red or Silver
4Runner SC Silver or Black [The Newer the better]
