So i got a call from my mechanic, and he told me 80% of my clutch is done, so i need one. I have a heavy foot, and i like to push it a bit! So i like to beat it up a bit any suggestions????

I love my Clutch Masters stage one kit. That would be a good choice. Also, I've heard excellent things about Exedy clutches as well...I'm not sure if they make one for the 5S-FE, but if so, I'm sure that would be a good clutch too.

im with coom CM stage one would be good for you. But a heavy foot wont tear your clutch apart thats just rough engagement. Go easy on the engagement and then be a lead foot.

You don't want a stage three on a stock engine. A couple of my friends have stage 3 or stage 4 clutches and it feels like the car is being torn apart due to the close-to-instant engagement.

I was just taking a look...it looks as if Exedy only makes a clutch kit for the ST, and not the GT.

No, like we said above, Clutchmasters makes clutch kits for the GT. wink.gif

Um, DGperformence just sold me an exedy clutch for my GT...so let's hope it works.

You don't need a stage 3. You just simply dont have the power to need it. Go OEM. It's cheap, works, and you won't be able to make enough hp to "out grow" it. (thats providing you dont rebuild ur engine, run nitrous, and if u 3s swap, do upgrade. I'm talking if you add the possible bolt-ons)

I dont know if anyone is really interested, but I do have a ACT 6 Puck Clutch Disc that I can put for sale, if anyone's intereseted.

I'm taking it off my car because, as some of you may know, i just blew my second GT tranny. I no longer need it and I only used it for about 1 month. I used the car as a daily driver only. No racing on that disc.

Since i'm now about to use the MR2 Turbo tranny, i will have to get a Clutch set for a 91 mr2 turbo.

Just letting you all know ahead of time.
