Anyways, yes i was promised a free dual exhaust system, and the guy is also going to TUNE the hell out of my engine, he said it will be good to go a hell of a lot faster!
Anyways, i dont plan on having it sound like a "fartcan" but a beefed up BAD ASS Car! Kind of like glass packs! Any suggestions of type of pipes, any other suggestions?

You could save weight and save the guy money if you just went with a single exhaust system...chances are a dual exhaust system will have one muffler spitting out a lot more exhaust gas than the other anyway, and I think that that looks pretty bad. That's why I got rid of my dual exhaust system back when I had it. smile.gif

I have also seen numerous amounts of Celicas with dual exhaust, and the DJing part comes in because i DJ'd this guys shop car show, pretty big actually. Anyone familiar with P and Js Speed Shop? If not the owner and i are good friends and frankly he is going to hook it up so i have seen his work. He does mostly mustangs, but cant wait till he digs hi hand into my little 4cyl, ricer and give it more of an aggressive sound!

Interesting...just make sure they don't go with too big of a diameter on the piping...your stock 2.2 liter engine only needs 2.25" or maybe 2.5"

You can see the exhaust gasses coming from your car? Unless your oil is high that's bad man biggrin.gif

Anyway with the dual exhausts... there are 2 "types" of dual exhausts.. a true dual system which is 2 individual exhaust systems (eg. 2x 4-2-1 headers in a v8) running back to two mufflers (maybe with a X shape join as well).. and also your regular single pipe from extractors to a twin muffler setup.

As all these guys say single pipe - twin muffler setups add weight and are only usually used when they are needed to pass environ laws on some cars. Also even with a worked 3s in your car you wouldn't NEED a full twin system, but hey man it's your ride and if you wanna do it, then doooo eeeeeht! biggrin.gif

i think kamix has a point...just added weight....but IMO if you did dual exhaust go 2.25" pipe if not 2" pipe but go 2-1 header and a TRUE dual exhaust from the engine block back smile.gif haha 2-1 hahahhaha

Only when it's cold out or the humidity is weird or something...it's more like steam(well, not steam...my head gasket is fine.), but it's the grayish stuff that just evaporates pretty quickly. wink.gif
