Hey I was wondering on what you think happened...story time all...Ok today Me and my buddy were driving outa the driveway and when we went to do the turn around in the grass the Gauge Light's just shut off...We dont know why or how but they just went blk. We checked the fuse for the gauges but that was fine...We went through multiple tests and still seemed like there was nothing wrong. Would the dimmer switch go bad because he was playing with it just before we left??? Someone help!!!

quite possible Take off the black plastic piece over the dimmer switch Take the wires off the dimmer switch and connect them directly together, bypassing the dimmer switch. Turn on your lights - if lite - WEEEEE If not - then check the line for a faulty connection and at last check the wires to the fuse. |

Pretty much same thing happened to me, except I dont even have a dimmer switch, b/c of aftermarket guages. My guage lights still arent fixed. Do the lights on your center console/ climate control not work as well? Mine too. All of the immediate wiring is in working condition. Fuses are all good. I think that for me, it could be the switch for the guage lights themselves.

to you really need your defroster and ac buttons to light up to know where they are? its not like they move around all the time and are in different spots each time you drive. they are in the same spot everytime. you probably should be able to turn them on blind folded maybe the bulbs just burnt out, coincidently at the exact same time |
