Have a look at old photos of Jared's(Phat99CeliGT) car. It used to have some vinyl graphics in white, and I liked them. smile.gif

i think vinyl only looks good on cars that have an extreme or race car look to them already, but i think it looks horrible on a celica with a stock body.

you got sponsered w/ stock wheels? lol, or are those old pic's?

i would take it, and put like www.decalkits.com like on that exotic car w/e it is at the top of the page, and possible get some custom like "3SGTE Powered" on the windshield or something like that... oh and if you do take it, paint your car black, decals only look good on a black or dark colored car w/ the decals white.

actually yes i did get sponsored with stock hub caps, but they know i'm getting some as soon as the swap is done and its mainly because i'm doing a swap, and i will not be painting my car black, i like red and its much easier to repaint it red so i don't have to repaint my whole engine bay and things like that

I would say no, but they can look cool if its done right, nothing HUGE. I would go for it, a sponsorship is worth adding them, just a logo etc in the rear-side windows.

i started looking an am thinking mabey
an APEXi sticker (the large windshield one) to go on the front windshield in either silver or chrome.

and then the TRD monster kit in the same color to go on the back windshield, over the hood and fender on the driver or passenger side, then the two large ones would go on the doors, and the smaller ones somwhere inside or under the hood.

i am wandering how that would look. or possibly the TRD decals in red with a silver or chrome outline

or mabey this for the front windshield with or w/o the logo on both sides, and use the APEXi at the bottom or on the rear window.

if so what color: silver, chrome, or what, this would be an experiment, this of coarse would not be permanant

should i at least try it, i mean it is free, i'm thinking mabey for just one show and see what people think

FYI: R rated posts are not allowed - even in the ever-so-popular vinyl stickers.

Ultimately, this has to be your decision. The only thing I would consider is a winshield sticker or possibly ghost lettering on the side of your car that you can barely read. As for the celica sticker, I would probably go with "Toyota" "TRD" or something original to you (e.g. car club name, etc.) I am taking all my Celica insignia off because these cars were once marketed, and still perceived, as the economical, reliable, slow, sport compact car for youth. That is not the image I want to advertise on my front windshield.

That said, I would still take a pass.

THAT IS VERY TRUE, i think i may go with APEXi at the top or Bottom of the windshield and probably my car club on the top or to the left and bottom of APEXi if it goes on top

and TRD on the back, i am also probably going to get the toyota emblem put on my sunroof, i have some stickers i want to put on my doors, including: APEXi and 6GC.net, but i want them in chrome, so i am going to see if i can get decalkits.com to make them in chrome
