Does anyone know of any side pics of a 6gc with the z-glyde type skirts with no front lip? Thanks.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

i think they'll look too low without the ron lip. You are better off calling junk yards within a 3 hour drive and seeing if you can find an oem set.

Depends on which you are talking about, the rare ones check my profile and look at the pic that shows the rear of the car without the rear lip. The front without the lip is just as high compaired to the rear. It would look like crap.

yeah, no to the z-glide skirts w/o front lip. I think a better combo would be hiro front (like you were planning), invader sides, and curren oem extensions.

I have the OEM extensions. I don't care for the invader sides at all. This whole kit thing is really puzzling me. I just know I want to get rid of those convertible sides. I really like the z-glyde and I like the hiro lip but I dont really think they match all that well since the sides are more angular and the hiro lip is so rounded. The 404A front just sits too low for my taste. I considered the TRD (dealer option) sides but the cheapest I have found so far is $600 shipped. I might just get the c-one front with the z-glyde sides. It would be a pretty cheap solution and I think it would look good. More to think about...

hmm. the reason I suggested the invader is because they would match up almost perfectly with the shape of the hiro front/oem extensions. you can see how the height is perfect for the extensions in supersprynt's profile:

as for the hiro front, use your imagination, the flat bit that curves around the hiro lip looks about the same as the front of the invader skirts. and honestly I didn't like them at first, but they look good in person imo.

your other option is the stock sideskirts which is what the hiro front lip was designed to go with in the first place. the only problem spot is the oem extensions are a bit lower than the stock sides.
