i want to buy a C/F hood but i dont know if i want to leave it CF r paint it body color, how would i go about painting it?

theres nothing special about painting carbon fiber. its the same process as fiberglass.

but I'm curious if you are getting a c/f hood why paint it? its not like its much weight reduction as it isn't a true carbon fiber hood.

yup. sand the clearcoat down, paint, and clearcoat again smile.gif

thanks alot man thats all i wanted to know, do you think c/f would look good on an orange Celi with gunmetal rims, thats what i am planning?

I think it would look excellent, but I'm a big fan of carbon fiber on any color of car. I know lots of people(especially girls...carbon fiber hoods don't seem to impress most of them) who think it's hideous though. wink.gif

thanks Coomer, yeah i think i am gonna do it, would the invader hood fit a hatchback because i have only seen them for the 2 door model, but they must right...

Yep, all USDM hoods are the same. Body style, whether the car is a hatchback, coupe, or 'vert, doesn't matter. The only variations are on the GT-Four hoods, which have a bulge that only lines up with the GT-Four's front bumper, and those aren't available stateside.
