I know I have seen a site that makes turbo kits for some lexus cars, and I don't remember what site it was on but the link said it had turbo kits for celicas and it brought up a page with lexi' on it and a number to call to get special kits priced and etc., oh hold on... ok i found what I was talking about. ToyoMoto

Hope that helps, of course if west minst was here, I have a feeling he would post a link that point to a well known thread on here. wink.gif

I do not ahve a link for that turbocharging.

I believe that a 3SGTE kit would do.

But keep an eye on that boost since your are running 11:0 compression. Keep boost below 8psi as much as possible.

Check out this link http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?act=ST...&f=4&t=662&st=0 for full details. Read all pages.

Also, give Fensport, extremeboost or toysport a call.. The first 2 listings are very good. Extremeboost is the worst on performance. There boast over 500whp.

true, true, so another option would be to purchase some JG edelbrock pistons (if they make it for that engine) with a lower comp.

You can turbocharge your car even with high compression.

You see, you cannot pump alot of air need to make big power like in big engine due to the high compression numbers.

If you continue to furthur read there site, you would see all the work that would be done on the engine.

Can you guys stop playing around and read the damn site properly.

If you are not into performance mods heavily of do not have a car which are doing over 220HP but perfomance mods for which you have heavily taken part off, don't say anything. mad.gif

The only problem that you may have is the header. But from what I understand, the heads are the same. Ie. the last gen of 3GTE and yours.

You can use a triple layer TRD or HKS or a very thick gasket (if the heads of the 3SGTE and 3SGE are the same) to lower your compression to somewhere around 9.5+.

With your car and that kind of compression you can't be doing more than 5-7 psi, and if you want an actuall bolt on kit, well you can actually get it. TOP FUEL is a company that makes it on a special order, they are famous J-Spec corporation and they have just recently opened store in Southern California. Go to yellow pages to get their number. Good luck.

Ok let me add this one statement my friend....if you want turbo swap but do not turbo that engine man! The Beams is meant to be a high compression, high reving engine the st185/205 engine is the ideal boost platform its internals are ment to love and cuddle it. I bego fo you keep your engine the way it is and if you wanna boost buy the gt four clip swap yours and give it to me! YES folks yet another attempt by Bizerk to swipe Maikl's engine! biggrin.gif !

Sounds very good.

the greddy may have nos controls.

IF not, check out Autronics and Motec 4.

Also, look into getting some big injectors. Like 550cc

how much does thoes injectors costs?

Depends on where you can get them.

You have HKS, RC Engineering, apex.

The best people to try and call is :

http://www.rceng.com
1728 Border Ave
Torrance, CA. 90501
Phone (310) 320-2277
Fax (310) 782-1346
RC@RCEng.Com

I believe that the cost would be about $100US for each

From there site:
500 cc / min $95.42
550 cc / min $95.42
600 - 1200 cc / min $185.00
1600 cc / min $185.00

Do not mine Zigy. You can get there. He thinks that you have a lame 7AFE or 5SFE.

I think a normal usa celi will do 16+sec stock or some where around there.

You car should do 15+sec in a 1/4.

Try it before you do any think. If you do not have a drag track, buy the GTECH PRO Meter from http://www.gtechpro.com

It is very good.

550cc or even 660 would be good enough to start with and later when you want to turbocharged.

You management system will be able to control these low resistance high flow injectors.

While you are at it, get a manifold or header for your car.

What about supra injectors, don't remember what size they are off the top of my head, but couldn't those work and be cheaper?

I do not know if there would work.

I think there are around 550cc. I will have to check my notes.

From my understanding, the RC Eng have better flow characteristics that stock injector.

Remember that some of the supra guys had gotten their injectors blueprinted.
