Carbon fibre door boards Options

Hello if have been searching now for over 3 hours and i just can`t find the topic i was reading the day before.....

I`m looking for one comunity member who made up a front door board out of carbon fibre for his 3 or 4 speakers....

It just looked great!! But i cannot find the topic anymore

Anyone eho can help??? or who knows the name of the owner???

I don't remember that one. but I'm guessing it was overlay, which is relatively easy to do, rather than full carbon fiber. there is a how-to on overlaying if you are interested.

Yes it was an overlay! But i`m looking for that picture!!! HELP i´m getting crazy....

Has nobody ever seen that Carbon fibre Speaker panel in the front door????

It was probably done in fiberglass, not carbon fiber. If it was CF, it was probably just an overlay.

But do you know someone out of this forum who has done that, pictures??? It looked like Carbon fibre. And it was just the lower part of the door to fit in the new speakers.

I dont know anything about that, but I'm doing a bunch of fiberglass parts, some cf if I can find a place to buy the raw materials, what are you trying to find out, I'll help if I can.

I would like to see that Picture again and to talk to that guy... Because i`m planing to build up such a thing for my front speakers as well.
