Coom:

I noticed you locked 97celica's thread selling kits because he already had another thread started months back. Now, I think the guy has some pretty far out ideas as expressed in off topic posts. I also think he could learn to be a little more tactful at times. However, I think creating a new thread, especially in the buying and selling forum, when one gets long and cluttered should be allowed. I almost did the same when I was trying to sell my transmission because there was so much trash in that thread. I think it helps not only the seller but also us members who might be interested in buying. Peace.

Jay.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Either that or some form of deleting replys that are outdated within the post, I think that'd be a better idea, only question is can it be coded?! smile.gif

you can change your thread names now, so just change to "MOD please delete" and then you can start a new one over

4. Once you have completed the sale, please edit your topic title to say "SOLD, DELETE" as the topic title, so that the management can remove the un-needed post and free up space and free up the search function. out of the sold forum rules.

Well that wouldn't make sense for people who are making multiple item sales, it'd be easier to just delete the replys of completed sales & then people who still want other items stay in the post.

edit: IMO
