So, the speed sensor from the 7afe has an electrical plug and the one in the 3S is mechanical. how did you swappers solve this problem?
the good news is, i had my mechanic open up the tranny today to check on the clutch and 2 hours later i stopped in to see a shiny blue Cusco clutch assembly complete with lightened flywheel. but on the other hand, they had to break the starter just to pull it out of the engine...no biggy |

that's one fine mechanic you got there. hope they dont break parts that are more $$$ and harder to replace. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

the 3sgte sensor is electronic, so is the 6th gen one.. just use the sensor thats already mounted to the tranny u will be using and it should just plug right in

ive never done an mr2 swap, but i think you are going to need an st185 wiring harness. then your stock sensor should just plug in.

Keoni on celica.net said he had a camry sensor that he thinks would work. does anyone know about this? if its the same tranny then i dont see why it wouldnt work, as long as it is electronic.
