I lowered my Celica with KYB GR2 gas struts and coil-overs...I only have 16's so i lowered the car as far down as possible...After driving the car for a while i have been running into problems, my axle keeps breaking and my mechanic said cause it's too low. So i raised it up and it's fine, do they make shorter axles or is there anything i can do? THANKS-

you can't use a different size axle. The problem about going to low is because the angle of the axle puts a strain on it.

My mechanic broke my front right axle and bought me some new light weight ones, or so he told me. I couldn't tell you who makes them for the life of me, if you'd like me to find out for you just PM me.

i droped mine 4 inches, and there is no problem with the axles. my camber is off but its an easy fix. i dont know how you seem to break your axles maybe some more info would help me figure it out. What breaks? is it that you get high centered and beat the crap out of them? witch asle, or both?

I have stock brake setup just better pads. I do not beat the crap out of them, i'll get on it but i dont do burn outs and stuff. Last time my axle went i was going the speed limit, 55, on my way home from work. I went around a little bend and then out of no where my car reved up cause my axle went. It's my passenger side that usually goes, which is not the drive axle. And i have a camber kit. ???????? maybe i just have bad luck.
