I want to know how to disconnect my alarm system. I think it's a stock alarm (black controller with green, red, and black buttons). I keep loosing the controller and then my battery goes dead when I'm working on the car, (with the doors open) and I can't recharge it without setting off the alarm. I hope this isn't a repost.. I searched and couldn't find info. Tnanks!

Ryan

black green and red buttons, doesnt sound like a stock alarm to me. My stock alarm has 1 button. If you have a stock alarm the control box should be under the drivers seat.

Maybe it's not stock. I just know that I didn't put it in. I just really need to disconnect it by saturday, because I can't find the remote for it, and I can't charge the battery without the remote to turn off the alarm. Basically, it's the only thing keeping me from driving the car to the painter's booth.
