I know this question has been answered somewhere on this site but i can't find it. How much motor oil does the celica need?

And one more thing. My car stalls when i put the engine on. Is that because of the oil or the engine?

my gt takes 3.8.....4 qts if ure lazy
and the oil wouldnt make ure car stall

Since you have a 95 gt, you'll need 4.1 quarts, and if you have high mileage, it would be smart to use something like castrol gtx high mileage motor oil cuz it helps to recondition the gaskets to some point. Also, about the stalling, it stalls right when you turn the engine on? that's weird. Anyway you might want to check if oil is leaking into yer sparkplugs, your piston rings could be shot or something. Good luck though! biggrin.gif

i never said anything about the swap before that's all. Plus i'm definetly not gonna do the swap myself. I don't trust myself. I just got into mechanics couple years ago.
