Now Accepting Donations for the Forum Upgrade Options

UPDATE:More than enough money was raised, so please, please, don't send any more money!

These forums and the site really need upgrading, and I'd like to be able to do this soon. The upgrade/site-recoding will probably require about 30 hours of work by me, so I'd probably sleep here at my office(where my internet access is actually reliable and fast) and work from Friday night until Sunday to get the upgrade done in a weekend. Once completed, the forums would be far, far better, with more features, more speed, a search function that works right, etc. The site would also have various improvements, mostly underlying database stuff that has to be done to accomodate the upgraded forums.

Unfortunately, a full lifetime license for Invision Board, the site's forum software, and the included support for it, costs $200. I can't afford to pay for the entire $200 license by myself because I'm over $1,000 in debt, so I was hoping that you guys could help out if you want to.

So if you want, feel free to send a donation via Paypal to webmaster@6gc.net, which is my Paypal email address. Any amount sent will be greatly appreciated, but please don't feel obligated to do this. It's only if you want to.

Once $200 is raised, I'll purchase the software license, and then the next weekend that I don't go out of town, I'll upgrade the site and the forums over the weekend.

So I'll start with $25 towards the cause. If you wish to make a donation, feel free to send some money via Paypal and then copy the bold text below and add your name and the amount to the list, and update the total if the math isn't too hard for ya.

Once $200 is raised, I don't want anyone sending any more money, so that's the reason for this list.

Celicarocker, once the $200 is reached, the upgrade will probably be the next weekend or the one after. And yes, the site will be down for the weekend. Hopefully a big AIM chat can be sustained for the weekend or something though.
