well next weekend.. my friend cindy and me are going to try making a custom roof spoiler and sunroof spolier.. for my celi... just wanted to know from the people that have or know... How is the roof spoler connected to the hatch.. is it 3M Glue.. or do is have some taps to slide into the egde of the spoler ?

I was checking GTFOUR that was on sale a while ago and it had c/f roof spoiler it was attached by two screws. Mac it all depends what shape your spoiler is

i'd say make some tabs that run into the car, and go were one of the screws inside the hatch go?

My guess is screws, kinda like the rear spoiler, if you ever take that off. At least i would say some sort of tab, but best off useing screws.

I was also thinking about making one, but i figured i would hold off until i finish everything else. This might help or not. This was how i was gunna do it. Take your old spoiler, then make a mold of the top and bottom, two peices then take them, and then mold them togeather, then place on top, of the roof of the hatch, then (im sure its goin to be to long/big) messure how much longer it is, then cut it in the middle, cut out the section that its too big. Then mold it together. an then mount it on, then fix an make look perfect.

well this is how i'm going to make mine.. after talking to Doggy .. i'm going to use builders foam .. measuer and shape it into the shape that i want. then lay fiberglass over it... i will be doing a lot of mesuering and cutting and sanding down...
