There's nothing I can really do. The full-text indexes are setup to only index words four letters or greater...when I can find some free time(if I can find some free time), I'll try to do some research.

you might wana just try typing it diferently like tie-rod ends, or tierod ends. although both serches did me no good (might not be any post on tie rods) it might work for things other then tie rod.
