Okay
Im sure most of ya know, but for those who dont, Im 16 and Im a beginner driver... So be nice to me okay?  lolOkay, I was driving into into the next city over from where I live (Issaquah for those who live in the Washington area) and I pull off the freeway, and turn into town... Well tonight, it was VERY busy. Jammed packed of cars, and I'm still getting use to how the ways of the road work. So Im not too use to traffic quite yet. Anyways, the light turns green so Im like "Okay cool, I'll get outa this mess pretty quick...." I was very wrong... Well it turned out, there as a ramp from cars getting off the freeway starting to pile in the lane I was in... Well, here's me goin along slowly up to the light, not seeing more cars merge into my lane cuz of some huge truck in front of me, and I get to the light, its still green... So I follow behind the truck, not really thinking much cuz the light was green and then sudenly the line comes to a hault, where I was blocking a good portion of the intersection.  Then the light goes yellow, then red. I was like. "S#%T!" and then the lane Im blocking suddenly turns green. It was madness! People were layin on their horns, rolling down their windows showing the finger.... I WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO EMBBARASSED! Even after I got outa everyone's way, people where still honking at me. And for some reason, the guy behind me was totally riding my bumper layin on his horn.... And I wasn't even blocking his lane! What the hell?!? LOL I know I messed up big time... But be nice to me, Im still learning This is the first time Ive done this so its not like I do it ll the time. LOLI feel pretty stupid right now.... Have any of you ever done this? We all did silly things like that when we were learning to drive. My only advice is to take your time learning things. Its better to make a mistake at a stop (or going slow) than it is going 60+ mph.

Oh yeah gata love seattle drivers. and yeah I have done that, usualy its not that big of a deal but right down from my house (bothell) there is a big duel intersection, one like 50 feet from the other (bothell way, and juanita drive if you know the area) anyway I always go this way to work, and if its not me blockin the first intersection somebody is. people dont really get mad about it since its always blocked up though,
dont feel imbarised its a easy mistake for any driver to make. just brush it off and next time be sure go flip the bird to any and all people honkin at ya for it like a hard core west coaster --------------------  |

HAHA, sheat, I see old people doing that **** all the time around here. All i do is go right next to them so im bout to hit them, then just sit.. they block me off, il block them off.. but its all bout learning.. I know i scrwed up a few times, the best is going down a one way street for three blocks, the wrong way..

I was in Santa Barbara at a local crusing spot on my motorcycle, when the same thing happened. Its actually a ticket you can get if a officer sees you, and when a cop on foot started coming towards us, my buddy took off! The officer started screaming at him, so I knew he was going to take it out on me, so I split also. Needless to say we had to leave the area. There were alot of bikes, but we didn't want to take any chances. Be carefull Sabrina!

gotta love road rage. People get over things like that really fast. Trust me, I have done things much dumber that that,,, and still do.
 I 'bob and weave' in traffic and get looks from people all the time.. |

Yeah... Im not so embarassed now
 yea it was just so fricken insane! Maybe its the busy shopping season that got people so freaked out because they wanted to get it done, or maybe... issaquah poeple just really really stuck up. whatever the case... now that i look back on it, its kinda funy. But gahhh! People really suck sometimes tho! LOL

wewt. we do that all the time in longview washington during cruise night, on friday night its not uncommon to see a bunch of ricers bunched up in the middle of a intersection
it gets really crazy tho when they get in rwd burn outs and bass competition in a really tight spot.
-------------------- the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.

no worries, esp if youre a begingin driver. Weve all done it one time or another. It happened all the time when i drive in downtown Chicago. People, mostly cabs, block the intersection all the time and people honk... but also just find a path around them as they are honking.
The first time i was yelled at by a cop because of it was when i was here in the U district (for all you seattle folks) and i wasnt even blocking the intersection, just the crosswalk area!! -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |

Nobody has ever honked though... Akimbo- I've driven down a one way street too, it was so weird though because nobody honked at me... they just went around me like it was nothing. haha
