Looks great... a bit too fancy for my tastes... but looks very good. Still doesn't change the fact that the tC was shafted with an econobox engine and a hefty weight... =/ I like the tC overall... but very disappointed with the lack of a sporty feel (and yes... I've test drove one)...

I'm going to have to agree with you. Scion is aimed at our age catagory and they did a pathetic job at suiting our needs.

Ironically, as you two bicker tongue.gif

I love the Tc and I probably will buy one. But dont worry Pete, my Celica is never leavin my side. So for the sporty feel Kwanza, they did a better job than they did with the 6th gen. 160 ponies, good traction, looks to boot at only 17000!!!! Holy buckets batman, thats awesome. For the others, dont crack on the Tc til you drive it. I, for one, loved my drive. And love the 2 sunroofs. And the large hatch. And the... well you get the point. ITS PRETTY I WANT!

It's a great car... no doubt. It's just not very sporty... ;] Engine feels like a more powerful 5SFE/7AFE... I guess I'm just a bit too used to driving something that spins to make power... that, and I drove an RSX-S right before the tC. That's what I call a sporty feel. =D

thats funny. i have been talking to coom for a few days about selling my celica and getting a black tc, slamming it, throwin on some black 18's with a chrome lip mmmm i saw those pics of the body kit a while ago, i probably wouldnt get that one because every one that wants to fix up their tc is only going to have one option for body kits and that is the pics you posted, untill they make more. but yeah i share your love for the tc.

Redtcel - we shard the love w00t Tc Pride.

I think this is just the beginning of the bodykits. Remember, the Tc is a 05 model and its still december of 04. For those with warranty issues, get the TRD S/C. Thats over 200 ponies and you get to keep that wonderful 3/36. Cant go wrong. I love Toyota.

Boy, after reading that..... even when i'm not trying to sell anything, I still sound like a salesman.

I was so close to getting a TC, just wish it didn't weigh so damn much, don't need that moon roof or whatever you call it, other than that I think its great. Supposedly they made the engine boost friendly would be nice if the supercharged one just came straight from the factory though rolleyes.gif

do some massive weight chopping... carbon fiber everything, lol. take out back seats. get light weight wheels... no wing, replace all the windows with that alternate light weight type of glass, forgot the name. take out the spare... have no sound system... and sooner or later i bet they'll have carbon fiber body parts too (fenders, bodykit, trunk, and hood)

--------------------
the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.

30 psi and 500 plus hp. wow. but to get a $15k brand new fw car ans spend 60-70k and maybe more to make it like that is not my thing at all. But i wouldn't mind having that car with a lead role in FnF3!!!!! just for the fun of it.

I know this has probably been asked 100000000000000000 times, but, are they planning on making an AWD version of the tC?

if so I'll sell the celica and take out a loan to get one biggrin.gif

that body kit costs a good 3,000 dollars. i dont think everybody will have that kinda money for a body kit.
