First off sorry if this is in the wrong section...

Anyone else feel this way?
I'm tired of looking at post where someone ask a question and instead of getting the answer for the question they are asking.. someone tells them its not worth their time or money to do that... or they should do something else.. that is just pissing me off... I don't know why i guess it shouldn't but it is...

no, i get frustrated at those posts as well

What i think they should do is try and tell them to the best of thier ability what it would take to do whatever... and based on all of that, tell them, "as you can see it is very involved and would cost a gazillon dollars, so you are better off doing..."

plus, usually its the same people who reply with "dont waste your time" type posts. Dont these people have any other input??

I agree but at the same time the repetitive questions, usually from individuals who don't bother to research, do get annoying after a while. I think rather than explaining over and over we should simply write out the answers very clearly once and put it in a faq, then we can merely reference it for future questions. I would do this myself, but I'm not all that technically knowledgable and I don't have much time at the moment (hence my being up this hour) .. maybe over winter break

when someone asks a question, it is open for anyone to reply their view on that topic.

the thing im tired of is not being able to have an opinion or being able to express my point of view because i have a 3sgte.

you can express youre opinion all you want... its just express them after the question that is asked is answered... if you don't have an answer to the question.. and can't help the person find what they are looking for your opinion is uesless....
