hey,
does anyone know where to get a shift boot? it seems that what ever i buy wont fit because of that stock ring around the base of the boot. do i have to remove it and sew it into the new one? |

Cut the retangular metal piece off, and you can buy any old boot and just put the fabric between the metal and plastic and clip the metal in. Thats what I did with a piece of suede. So now I have a suede boot I got for $5.
Also: I had a sew the boot to fit better - but its not hard. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Dec 6, 2004 - 3:31 PM -------------------- |
