one for the celica with 2 12's and amp flush in middle , couple for fulsize chevys , cougar and fullsize ford with 4 12's,
1. depends on box more than a gallon 2.lots works good to lay first lay with fleese and sok in resin , then build off that , build layers inside if possible saves alot of time less sanding and can be layer on as thick as you want without losing the shape 3.$20 a gallon for resin plus filler amd i had mdf from other boxes 4. can buy but if you use 10''s home depot has 11'' 3/4 thick disk of wood that work nicely just cut out center, makign them isnt to hard but harder to get good circle "or i just cant cut strait" 5.mdf frame and sides with glass top is what do most the time 6. is a must , i use cheap walmart brand bondo , works good , , if you want pics or more questons ask |

I have one that once painted will be a perfect mold to the driver side of the trunk, its for 2 competition 10".
1. Yeah it all depends on how many layers you do and how big it is (obviously) I mush have gone though a gallon at least, maybe 2 2. it varies, i did 6 on the base (part that bults to the side) and around 4-5 over the rest I used the mesh, not the mating for extra strangth so i did not have to do so many layers. 3. yeah what pxcr440 said, about 20 a gal, + $6 per yard and a half of mesh, i used about 5. 4. I took the rings from my mdf box i had maid a wile back, you can buy them and maybe its a good idea, but i maid mine and it worked just fine. 5. mdf for the ring, but thats all, wood dowel to hold up the rings in place for the first few layers over the frunt. 6. Yep a good amount of body filler to even out the surface, rather then sanding the fiberglass and making it thiner, plus its easery to smooth out body filler (i have in the pased used fiberglass reinforced bondo but its not the best stuff, it takes for ever to dry and is hard to sand evenly. regual is the best. using fiberglass to make the mold of the bottom, back and sides...then using t-shirt to make the front.... 1 farad cap..400watts rms for each sub and 800rms amp..... weeeeeeee and hopfully an optima yellow top |

Depending on your style, you might not be able to use wood at all. I would sugest if you can, use as much wood as possible, it will be a lot easier. I used bout 4 or so layers on mine, an its perfect. Im going to finish it with in this week. Il try an post some more pics. But just be patiant and dont rush it.

im putting fiberglass over my wood. its real easy, and i can then shape and mold it a lot better. basically i just took my box, fiberglassed over it, then molded it into the trunk, well thats my plan.....

Lot chepaer and less time consuming. |

ive never used fiberglass, but id rather use 3/4" MDF than fiberglass personally, ive seen installs with fiberglass crack and break, plus to me MDF puts off better resonance. but thats just me, plus fiberglass takes time and money. you wont see spl compititors get high db's using fiberglass. its mostly for looks anyway.
