 Got fired today |

Yup, got fored this morning.
Yesterday i was delivering up north and passed the house. instead of going around the block i decided to just back up to the house. the house was only a few yards behind me. i started backing up when no cars were in sight. kept close to the curb just in case a car did come down the road. Then, SMACK!!! i hit something. my rider said i hit a tree, but i was still on the road. i got out and sure enough, i hit a low limb. crushed in the top of the box. couldn't get the door up. cop that took the report said if i did get yelled at for it i could fight it cause the limb was too low. i got back to the store and everyone was looking at it. my manager told me to go take my piss test and go home. i got in this morning and my manager told me not to get my paperwork cause the store manager wanted to talk with me. i figured i was just gonna get moved into the store till my drug test came back. Nope. He told me he was gonna have to terminate me cause the damage was costly. damn near cried in the office. i loved that job. met alot of great people. got me out of being shy. anyone know if i can draw unemployment cause of this?? cause im not gonna find a job till after the holidays

Thats messed up, if it was any one of them they sure as hell wouldnt want to be fired over something like that....those bastards!! How costly can it be? Dont they have insurance on it??

the truck has insurance, the whole box has to be replaced.

Wow dude that sucks ass. I was fired for bs too. well, mine was cause i used my brothers gift card(i worked at best buy) and that was against the policy. An i was one of there best sellers, the youngist sup in the company..
but thats life, gotta get up an move on. |

funny story about best buy and getting fired.... i was at work last night in the break room, and this kid was trying to help this girl get a thing of m & m's unstuck... so instead of like rocking and tipping the machine, the kid runs at it and slams into it with his shoulder... shatters the glass into a million pieces... haha what an idiot....
but yah that sucks man.... getting fired for bs sucks... --------------------  |

I marked downa dvd player for him.. with the managers aproval.. but he never signed cause i forgot, an then the thing didnt work.. so he returned it, an got a gift card, spent it all but 10 bucks, so i gave him 10 bucks to use it, cause i know he wasnt ever going to. Then they looked the **** up.... IT WAS BS an it started with a guy that i got his job, an was being paid more because i was better salesman, and he looked it up an told the manager.. it was gay |
