What are some things you check for when you go to buy a used car from a person. Things like making sure everything is connected, wiring is all good, etc. I know diff cars have diff problems. But when test driving it, I hear if you shift to 4th, then keep the RPMs at 1000-1500. After that, floor it. If you see the RPM jump up then fall back down, your clutch is slipping. Is this true? Thanks

yes if it does that the clutch is slipping.
