DIFFICULT TO CHANGE LANES WITH HB'S, WIDER MIRRORS? Options

I have a celica hatchback and I find it hard to change lanes at night on the freeways. I hate it when it rains at night, I can barely see anything with the stock mirrors. Does anyone have the same problem or is it just me? I plan on replacing the stock mirror inside of my celica to prevent future accidents ....

haha, no, i dont have much of a problem, which is a good thing cuz i change lanes all the time on the freeway, especially at night

I have hte same prob...but not with my mirros but with my blind spot..i look back and i swear nothing is there but then theres a car

The blind spot in my convertible is pretty bad too.

what u can do is get a bigger rear view mirror...the side mirrors are fine!! the bigger rear-view will eliminate the blind spot i think...i dont have one so i can't really say sh*t from experience.

Don't you use the side mirrors as well? before changing lanes? Do you use the hb wipers? I don't have a problem changing lanes though..

go buy the broadway mirror for your rear view it helps alot

I always cut people off because I don't see them..and i look at least twice before i change lanes too...

Me either....although theres a little bit of a blind spot since its a hatch.

A trick with the blind spot is to lean forward in the seat when looking in your side mirror and it lets you see the blind spot. I do that or I just take a split second look over my shoulders to see if there are any cars beside me. I hate it when cars match my speed on the expressway and then stay in my blind spot. People always do that here in Boston.

there is a simple solution to your promblem angle your side view mirrors out more. that should help.

I set my side mirrors to my blind spots that way there is no problem with changing lanes. I also have a broadway mirror and that thing is huge and helps out alot.

Im taking mines out later bcuz some S.U.V are always blinding the hell out of me at night.

I'm sure people feel the same way you do when you hit your brights and they got 4 lights coming at them instead of 2!

Unless you got fog lights, then there are 6 lights coming at them.
And if you have JDM headlights, then you got the bulbs on the side of the H4 bulb, so that could make 8 lights.
Then if you put Halo Eyes on the JDMs you could have 10 lights blinding the crap out of someone.
Maybe that's why there are so many alien sightings!?!
