Well I finally got my chance to purchase some 1971 Celica emblems. Very rare and since they are no longer made the owners can charge a small fortune. But here they are.

Brand Spankn' new, people
If you'd like a pair, they go for 50 bucks on Ebay. Theres only one guy selling them and I'm unsure how many he's got left. Very nice, good quality and fast shipping.

Nice!! So they fit on our cars just like that right? We dont have to make them fit or anything?

edit: Ahhh screw it! I love them so much I just bought some hehe wink.gif So whether I use them or not on my car I dont care, I like the old emblems. Im not sure how good it would even look on a black celica? Guess we will find out

I almost picked up some old emblems, not the Dragon, but the words Toyota Celica from a second or first gen to replace my normal ones.

They wont fit the 6th gen right up. You will have to make them fit. However, if you have a 71-75, your in luck! smile.gif

Its not gonna be hard to fit, just drill a little and hot glue and whala.

Yeah, I almost did that on my 5th gen, but the emblems I got from the old celi were plastic...didn't really feel like putting those on, if they were metal, though, they would have been awesome. I think I got them off a 1st gen that is just sitting out in the woods sorta close to here.

I'm putting mine the dash on the inside so some vagrant doens't rip them off. I got mine a year ago, and so far they've just been sitting on my desk not doing anything.

Also, has anyone put these on the gt-4 top grill? I'm thinking of putting the second one there. Not sure yet. Still have to cough up a little more $$$ to get all parts painted.

Sigh.
