I did some searching, and found that some people disconnected the battery and waited 15 minutes before going back to work on the car, to ensure that the air bags wouldn't pop out.
I need to remove both of them, so what's the safest way to do this? Disconnect the battery, then wait 15 minutes, then disconnect the plug for the air bag module underneath the center console? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to removing the dash, but I have to remove it anyway to sell to someone.

Oh please, you people complaining about removing the dash aren't real men. Real men figure out they forgot something and have to drive their stripped car to home depot with no dash. REAL men aren't afraid of fiberglass... wait.. dangit.
One more word of advice coomer- keep your head out of the way, just in case. |

just make sure you drop the steering column some people don't know this and basically it's that easy. my friend with a lude can drop his dash in like 5 mins.

Hahaha reminds me of the time I put a car alarm in my first car. It took 3 days of on and off work to get it working flawlessly....and it was my only car... My trim and my glovebox was relocated in the back seat next to the bundles of copper wire and relays and replacement door jams and etc etc etc. O yes and having to get my car jumped after work because the chime didnt ring when I had my headlights on. |

Do you mean taking the entire steering column out of the car? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
