I finally got a little bit of extra money to put into my car again and the next thing on the list is a suspension mod. Im stuck between getting coilovers or buying TRD (1") or Eibach (1.5") Springs. Any opinions or advice on brands would be great.

I say coilovers. You can adjust the height for any road condition.

Get Eibach Sportlines. Go to the off topic forum, look in the (pic of yourself) part, and check out the drop on coomers car.
(Or if you are die hard toyota, you can linger on getting TRD like me. ![]() |

Deffinetly coilovers!
With springs you always run the risk of not gettin a big enough drop or too big of a drop and then your screwed out the money you spent for the springs, plus if you add a bodykit later on and it's too close to the ground you can't lift it up. -Joel |

Find out how much you'd like to drop first, usually anything more than a 1.5 and you have to drive REAL careful...and if your getting a kit you shouldn't really go more than an inch. That's why i'd reccommend TRD Springs.
Coilovers do have a nice advantage cuz you can raise them and lower them to your liking but the ride quality is terrible, or so i've heard. Up to you. ![]() |
