5sfte turbo oil line, reducing oil pressure... Options

allright i've been searching and reading up. it looks like when the 5sfte conversion is done there seems to be a problem with oil consumption and leakage through the turbo which in turn could cause damage. now if i'm using -4 an line which is 1/4" for the oil feed line and a -10 an oil return line which is 5/8", is this setup going to be allright. is there going to be too much oil pressure. i've heard of people putting a valve on the line to reduce the pressure or even crimping the stock oil line to reduce some of the pressure. for all you other 5sfte's out there what did you guys do for your oil situation?

i have been doing ALOT of research on that very thing myself..a few weeks ago i posted about the oil pressure between engines being the same..so its just a matter of getting the proper sized lines.
i talked to ken and aaron from ats racing, they both tell me that a -3an line should be used for the feed, and a -12an for the return.
also, they both say to make SURE that your return line path is very clear, meaning no sharp bends or anything, the oil is carried back to the pan by gravity only, and its very easy for it to get "backed up" and leak back in..and that will cause the same smoking like over feeding the turbo.

but all of the oil line kits out there they have a -4 and a -10 line. i have the stock oil lines for the ct26 but i'm making custom flanges from 1/2" aluminum stock and the fittings will be tapped into the flange. i compared the oil lines to the braided line and their size are pretty close. will this setup be allright? anyone...

go ahead and use the -4 and -10 an lines. you dont wanna hear anything else anyway, why not just use a peice of rubber hose for your feed and stick your return line in your dipstick tube...it works.
