Well, My buddies g/f friend, was givin her gran pops benz when he passed away, she dosnt want it and neither do the parent,s cause there rich and she just bought a new car. So shes going to sell it for $3500 . Its a 91 and is under 100k and full loaded, leather power everything. Its a 190e 4 door marron What u think i should do. sell mine an get it??

I wouldn't. The Benz won't be as reliable, nor as pretty. I don't like the interiors at all either. Plus I'm assuming it's an auto since you said fully-loaded.

$ for maintenence...take a Celica with 10more probs a year any day(not saying the celi will have more probs)

190e

e = econemy

not the best model. I had a 85 190e. POS, but it did have 225K miles on it. sold it on ebay.

Yeah i was just thinking im kinda ready for a norm sedan that kinda says class, that im not going to keep screwing with like my celica, also it has 50k less miles then my car .

my grandpa has a 87 190e and its a major pos

german cars are trash when they get past 100k miles

Are u kidding me? My bimmer had 160k and ran perfect. The guy i bought the car from, had a same year-91 525i with 260k same engine getting a new paint job.

Also im a bmw nut, not super big on benz, and know nothing bout them.

Some even become pieces of trash well before that. My ex's dad's AMG Benz ML55 has far less miles than that and he's about to sell it because of all the constant engine and electrical problems.

There are always exceptions, and most probably last a lot longer than their AMG Benz has, but it's true that german cars typically don't have the reliability of japanese imports like Hondas, Toyotas, and Nissans.

my buddy has a 91 e-class. comfortable but its a big pos nonetheless; they're spent more than the car is worth in repairs. only reason hes stuck with it is because he wrecked his wrx. in conclusion, don't do it
