Omar and Virgil's All-Gen Celica Meet February 13 Options

well i would like to first introduce my self. My name is Virgil, i drive a 2000 Auto GT, i live in Pomona, CA. mostly post on Ecelica.

just wanted to let you guys know about the celica meet coming up my friend and I are hosting.

This will be the 2nd Annual WestCoast Celica Meet of the year, and we're looking to make this one the biggest we've ever thrown. Last meet we had a total count of 58 Celicas, and 2 other cars. For this meet as some of you know, me and Omar are planning and hoping for at least 70 Celicas, and the reason for the "all-gen" in the title is so that Celicas other than the 7th gens know for a fact that they are invited because there was some confusion during the last two meets. We have also reserved the Gazebo for 3hrs at the park, so we won't have to worry about other people getting in our way. A BBQ is also planned for this meet, and unfortunately it is B.Y.O.M.(bring your own meat) because I only wish we had the funds to provide everything . The time of reservation for the Gazebo is from 1pm-4pm on Sunday February the 13th. Me and Omar will be there at 12p.m. because that is when the meet will begin. This will allow time for everyone to show up and then at 1p.m. we can begin BBQ'ing. The meet will go on until 4p.m. or people begin to leave, thus giving us a total of about 4 hours for the entire meet.

Remember, we're going for 70!!

Now old boy up at the body shop is bull sh*tting me about a single part that he has been waiting for finaly showed up, but it is for the wrong side of the car. So I have to call him back, but his message said that it may take another week to a week and a half. I am pissed. SO, I don't know if my car will be out by then or not. I am crossing my fingers. Like I said, if it is, then I am down, if not, then I guess I will just have to wait till the next one. H8DC3lica, I will let you know if I get it back in time so we can plan on rolling out together. Either way, we will have to meet up some time in SD and tear the streets up!

Hey guys, I know I am on the list, and don't take me off yet, but my car is still in the shop. I have to go tomorow and tell the guy if I like the way the kit fits before he paints it. Then I have to go to the speed shop for the exhaust system. SO, I hope it gets done in time. I sure as hell will be there if it is out of the shops. A few comments/things I need to get out there, Virgil was just over and we talked over the meet and everything that was going down and decided we should post it all up at least a week, week and a half in advance of the meet itself, so please read and tell anybody/everybody who hasn't

1. Most important, when I reserved the gazebo at the park the lady whom I spoke with asked me if we were selling anything at the meet and I said no. Now I know there will be a few who will be selling things but that is ok because I'm sure Andy, Ron and anybody else wont be setting up shop just out of the trunk kinda thing. That is fine and I'm not saying not to sell anything, but just giving the headsup so at least I know that I told everybody.

2. My brother will be filming this meet and together we're going to make hopefully a ten minute(or more) video of the meet along with tons of pictures included in the video that we will be taking. It will all be in menu format, meaning that when you put it into your computer you will have options, a main menu and whatnot, this isn't going to be just the regular car video that you see. I will make a thread when it is ready for sale which will be at the most $5. We will try our best to make it onto DVD format but that will be a little tough and will require more time, but we'll try.

3. Please for everyone's sake and keeping our meets in order like they have been, nobody do anything stupid or attract negative attention to us. I believe we are all old enough to act mature so let's just do that and show everybody in So Cal how it's really done.

5. We still need a few more things for our BBQ in itself. We have a healthy supply of all kinds of meats, drinks, bottled/canned drinks, cups, chips, and the basic stuff. The items we lack and need more of are as follows; charcoal, napkins, paper plates(definitely need these) and I think that is pretty much it. Anybody as of now who isn't bringing anything but would like to, please do your best to bring the things that I have just noted, that would help tremendously and thank you to you guys and everybody who is bringing stuff in advance, it's all greatly appreciated. If anything else comes up I will let you all know.
