looks like its gonna happen this summer! get a gain of about 50 hp. *works for me* finally i will be able to say something is done under the hood!


im gonna get a custom made header made by my dads friend who fabricated a few things for my bros supra! and all!


thats the plan as of now but like i said it wont be till summer!

I think he means how its gunna run against a 3s-ge. Concidering thats the man dif between the 5s-fe to a 3s-ge, besides the 5sfe is bigger.

since when only that give you 50hp....

its really hard to get any power gains out of the NA 5s. the best those mods with probably to is 10-20 hp. id look into doing a turbo setup or a swap if you want 50hp or more out of your car.

Lagos and doubters, never underestimate simply raising compression on a car.. yeah, I dont think she'll get 50 more hp, but I think with all that she SHOULD get more than just a 10 hp gain..

Talking trash is useless, if u really can gain 50hp in ur 5S engine, I think there is nobody do the swap, and also ur dad will work in TRD, dude

By the way, after u done it, pls show us the dyno of ur car.

what are you gonna bump the compression up to? and dude ya you can get 50 horses from raising compression and proper tuning a and with cams. i have a friend thas has a neon acr all motor no turbo no juice pure motor and he runs 12's. he's got cams, ITB's exhasut, header, and stroker kit and a piggy back.

if ur are going to raise the compression.. are u also going to run with a Fuel mangment unit? ... and do u know which pistions and rods ur dad is going to use ? ... and don't listen to everyone else.. that says u can't get 50hp out of rasing the compression... u can is done right ...

yeah, but is less then 50hp worth all the time and money it takes to make it happen? you would be better off with a basic turbo kit running 5psi.

oh and "simply raising compression"....there is nothing simple about it, its a big job!

personally NA or FI is up to personal choice yea you can get 50+ hp outta your motor but getting there your goin to spend some cash....

pistons(i'd suggest 4agze as they raise compression but not sure if they fit in a 5sfe probably not so i'd look into WISCO or ARIAS for custom pistons(aka GB oportunity))
