Ok people, its time for round 2. Round one did its job. I now have a better communication with Extreme Doors (first name basis) also, I have a better idea on the length of time it will take to recieve.

ROUND 2
Standard Price on Extreme Doors.com: 1350 frown.gif
Price on 6GC: 900 smile.gif
Shipping U.S.: FREE
Shipping Canada: +50
Shipping U.K.: +150
Other places, I'll just quote...

This is a complete bolt on door kit for the 1994-1999 Celica Coupe, Vert or Hatch, ST or GT (or any other models). Member Forkee has written a How-To and I'll link that at the bottom of this page.

This shouldn't be too hard to install yourself with the help of friends. If you have a basic tool kit and knowledge of bolts and wires... it shouldn't be too much for you. This kit will give your car a lambo/vertical door look that many people have been wanting for their Celicas for years.

If you are interested, please begin a list. You can start the list now. Orders will be processed on February 28th. All payments must be recieved before than. I will start taking payments on February 14th. This gives everyone at least 2 weeks and 4 weeks if needed. I cannot hold out futher past the 28th, because I want everyone to get their kits as soon as possible. After looking at the last order, I believe it should be 4-6 weeks depending on shipping. This is to your doorstep. Theres a few weeks in making them, a week to ship back the company, and then the company must package and ship them out to you. If all goes well, 4 weeks... if delays occur, 6 weeks. I will keep everyone posted step by step on whats happening. Please only add your name to the list if you are serious.

Consynx, I can send you a paypal payment form. You should be able to pay with credit card without using paypal. As for the price later... Try and hit this one up. Due to the time it takes to complete a group buy and then make and ship the parts, this one will come just in time for summer. If I start another group buy then, I'd have to have another large group and then the kits will arrive when summer is ending. I probably will do one then, but as said above, if you want them for summer, try and hit this one up.

they are still in the process of 'mastering' it. I guess its not up to par just yet. Maybe later. The standard kit seems fine for most people.

And Sean.... I know it would be real easy for in/out traffic on a vert. Hrm....

-Ti

EDIT: Defgeph - you dont cut the outside fender. Its a snippit on the inner lip, the part you cant see from the outside. Just so the hinge has plenty of room to travel.

I just answered him in the thread. I think I can send a 'request for payment' through paypal and you dont have to have an account. I'll start taking payments on the 14th unless you really want to just pay now.

Just a note to those from Celica Club UK.

I had BenMMellor put a post up. I cannot post because I dont have permission from Bubba yet. So, hopefully someone on your site sees this and will repeat it in your forum. Satori, the fender cut isn't bad. Its the inner lip. The fender still bolts to the door, you just have a snippit where the new lift will go. You cannot see the cut with the door on. So even if you had to sell it and took off the kit, no one would see the cut. As stated in your thread, the coversion to UK bucks is 557.55 shipped. Thats current as of Jan 31st. Chandler, I understand... I too wouldn't use the kit with the windows up, but it gives you an idea of the room. At least you dont have to roll down your windows to open the door. Just a picture pal wink.gif. Bradders, I dont think anyone has ever done Lambo doors before. If fact (in my constant searching) lambo doors haven't been offered EVER. You had to go custom before. This kit is made for the 6th gen and has warranty. Linda, all payments will goto me at my business. If you are interested, please start a 1. (name) list on your site. I'll add them to this list as I see them. I accept Paypal or money orders, possibly credit cards before the 14th. If you have anymore questions, please email me at shiftmotorsports@gmail.com and I'll answer. Thanks again for the inquiry.

and all sorts of stuff i mean i want these
but if i have to wait till sumer and buy them from the site i'd rather do that
or just create a gb later around april or sumthing

i am holding a wad of money as I am reading this post. One thing that stops me from doing any type of group activities is that i do not entrust my money to anyone, especially that much money I had to work so hard for. going back 2 roommates i remember he got burned spending 2500 on a bodykit that never existed. Some lucrative mofo custom fabricated a kit for a nissan altima making it look like a supercar using the photoshop and collected i'd say good 90 or so payments and then dissapeared for good. My now ex-roommate is still looking for him in the state of ohio (that is if he was not lying when he registered in nissan forums...

I understand your concern. It being alot of money, I to am hesitant. However, if you notice, this is the second group buy. The first group buy consisted of 8 kits, all of which were delivered. I've also been put on the good sellers list. Also, I will accept paypal which has money back guarantee. And if you'd like, I'll give you full information of my address and telephone number. You can let me know. If you click the PM button, I'll answer any more questions you might have.

I understand this.... however, during the first group buy there were like 5 or so people ask if they could get it but it was too late. I was asked to create another group buy, but I wouldn't until the first one was installed. And now.... no one. Hrm.

BTW guys... the first group buy was 4 months ago in November. So I personally dont think this is tooo close.

this is the thing that pissed me off about what MadMods did. I did NOT sell to madmods. I did a group buy for lambo doors earlier. All my orders went through. Madmods bought a 100 degree conversion for his custom Decah kits in November straight from the company. He says the company ripped him off. The company says madmods isn't responding. I've tried helping him by talking with the owner of the company even though its not really anything to do with me at all. I purchased the kits from Extreme Doors with success and all my customers were happy.

Again, Madmods, when you read this... this is what i'm talking about. You posted something on a site that deals directly with me that a company is bad. YOU ARE NOT HURTING THEM, YOU ARE HURTING ME. And frankly its pissing me off. Thats 2 people in this post that think I took you for 900 dollars when really your having a 100 dollar fit with the company itself. Its too bad you cant work things out with them, but for my sake STOP POSTING THAT PEOPLE ARE GETTING RIPPED OFF.

For people who are concerned with getting products from me, please talk to some of the people that got kits eariler:
Neoklis
Frotou
Forkee
etc...

This Group Buy is done.

After back and forth, I realize that it can now NEVER grow to what it would have if some truth was told. Thus its closed.

For lambo doors now...
Well contact C3L1CA or Soundslut for information on their custom kits
