Hi guys,

Boot install comin along nicely but not much time on my hands for it at the mo. Once the amps are all in place the next job on the list is replacing the standard speakers, I was thinking of Infinity reference components front and rear placing the drivers in the original speaker positions rather than in the parcel shelf. I gather the rear speakers are 7" and the fronts 6 3/4"s, both bitchin sizes! Are these the right sizes and if so could you recommend me your favourite speakers that you have and or tell me where I can get adapters for the front mounts.

Appreciate any input.

Cheers.

Where did you gather that the rears are 7?

Anything up to 8s will fit in the front, 6.5s and 6.75s are pretty much drop ins. I have 6.5s in the back; and I think they were a perfect fit, but I believe stock is 6.75

if it doesnt fit then make a baffle smile.gif , anyway my recommendations are the CDT component sets from www.thezeb.com . aside from the reviews, the price is exceptional . other brands (or coaxials) are: CDT, Focal, Rainbow, MB Quart, Moral, Dyn Audio, Boston Acoustics, Daimond Audio, Infinity, Memphis, Adire, Resonant Engineering, Image Dynamics.. if you can afford the money them some of these brands are definately to go with, but for the money id run all CDT.. exceptional quality and for the money in that range you wont find a better set(unless they are used to refurbed or a Major blowout sell). again these are at www.thezeb.com . (the ones i am talking about are the $150 ones also, and the coaxials are like $60.)

Thanks Shid & Scarrell. www.thezeb.com has some NICE speakers and in the sizes you stated! Probably going to go for 6.75 components front and rear, just hope they ship to the UK biggrin.gif

I hope to have my install done by mid february and speakers shortly after so keep your eyes peeled for it on the forum!

Thanks again.
