Damn that would be one hell of a deal if thats the case, I'd like to see some proof if possible smile.gif
These things are even rare even in Japan and to find one thats running and not damaged is ever harder.

If Jarco is selling the entire clean front clip with 3sgte and manual tranny, clean gt4 hood, clean gt4 bumper, rear axles, differential, both drive shafts, the after market exhaust, uncut ECU w/ harness, all 4 gt4 wheels with rubber, and is willing to even throw in the entire rear hatch door and spoiler and rear lights, just for the hell of it for 2500.00 .... I'd like to be 1st in line to buy one too please... smile.gif

This is basicly the entire GT4 your getting in pieces... If no ones buys it i'll probably keep the thing for myself and turn a GT into a All wheel drive GT4 Turbo'ed monster wink.gif

I believe that is actually a heatshield pan off a 300Z Twin Turbo .... smile.gif

I'll double check if it came with the floorpan...

Here are some pics of how she looked like when she was in Japan before we cut her in half... tongue.gif

Why did you cut it in half when it looked like that car was in perfect condition... I know you have to cut it up to bring it to the US but if your only selling it for around 5000 that car has to be worth more in its whole form in Japan.

Believe me it was hard having to cut it in half... frown.gif The value of cars in Japan take a serious nose dive after they hit about 100,000KM... granted thats only about 50,000 miles, thats a whole lot for a car in japan. The value of the car if we sold it in Japan would have gotten a good price, but being that I am starting a business in the US and not Japan, I thought it would be great to bring it over here and have someone in the US have a chance to have one... smile.gif

also what happened to the rear cut?

i don't know if anyone else knows this but in order to do the AWD conversion SAFELY you need to swap in the floor from a st205.

This is no "Bad Ass Deal" or anything .... But I still believe its a fair price. I've seen the ST205's go for around this fairly often.

If you think im wrong then tell me a price you think is fair. Im willing to work on any serious offer.

Unfortunatly thats that is one of the only "Legal" way to import them.
You can send them over intact if you want...but there's alot of red tape and hoops to jump through

I know GT4s in Japan depending on year, condition, mileage etc... go for around $5000, GT4s in countries with the steering column on the left side go for around $8000. legally you can't import a GT4 from japan into the US because of Safety and Emissions, the only way to get a gt4 in is either disable the vehicle ie. take out engine, cut car in half etc.. or register it as a offroad racing vehicle. If you dont do any of these then Customs will bond your vehicle for 150% of its value until you bring the proper safety modification paperwork from a body shop.

Shipping a Full car from Japan to the US depending on port and if you decide to pick up car at port or have it delivered will cost you $1000-$2000.

I was seriously looking into shipping a GT4 from japan. Its only that Ive already sunk $10,000 into my current ride, and I got lazy finding someone who could be a go between me and the car seller in japan.

I would recommend that if someone has a Japanese friend and havnt sunk to much money in their current ride to go for the Japanese GT4. You can get left sided GT4s but these are more expensive and rarer then the japanese type.

The Best source for GT4s is yahoo auctions japan. Uste altavista babelfish translator or ask a japanese friend to translate. Good luck

The ST205 has a different floor pan. This is required to make room for the rear differential. The highlighted parts are different.
