Here's the picture.
I believe it does not come with the adapter.
And Yes it is Brand New.

So this is a good turbo for 3SGTE?
and fits perfect? or I need some modifications to fit it in?

Yeah its a common upgrade and yes you need an adapter for it to fit the manifold.

Congrats. These questions might have been a little more productive before you bought the turbo. Good luck.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

hehe yeah I know..I should've asked b4 I bought it.
But I didn't know I was gonna win.
I just made the bid for fun at the lowest price.
But I happened to be the only bidder of that auction.
now Im gonna have to pay $400 just because I bid for fun.
how stupid I am.

and where would I get the adapter from?

Do you have a 6th gen with 3sgte?

MR2oc.com should become your friend, most populous place for aftermarket parts for 3s and alot of ppl know what they're talking about. Also try http://alltrac.net/phpBB2/index.php if that doesnt work you'll have to go to Garrett.

thats going to take a lot of modification

you need an all new custom down pipe with a V-band connector

then you need to buy an external wastegate

then you need to either modify the stock manifold to work with an external wastegate, or buy a new manifold that is made for external wastegate.

and thats a big ass turbine

my friends Z has a t3/to4e turbo with a .63 turbine and it gets full boost(10psi) at 3krpm, and thats with 2.8 liters pushing it.

expect a lot of lag.

This really shoulda been something you looked into before buying a turbo.

Your going to need oil lines, coolant lines if necessary, the external wastegate (if its not internal), lines for wg, and downpipe. Thats another $500 easy. Try to find a kit (adapter for mani) and downpipe that are made for the turbo or else it might not fit right.

Or you try to sell your newly acquired turbo and then get a kit.

Yeah, you're gonna get a bit of lag, not as much as 97s friend because yours is BB, but still.. thats a huge housing.

ok good to know its new, now onto the next part..
like everyone else has said, your gonna need some work to get that to fit..
i'd expect it to be pretty laggy...full boost around 3800-4200 rpm...but will make nice power after that...your prolly gonna need some fuel upgrades to get the most outta it.
which gen 3s you have?

You might want to contact a guy named Andrew who made a custom T3/T4 kit for the third gen. He mentioned the possibility of making them for other people. He was working with the MR2 though so you might have hood clearance problems for his kit. As far as I know, he is not "in the business" but I am not sure that means anything. Here is his email address:

murbonracing@yahoo.com

One other option is cj motorsports in the Chicago area. They have a kit for the third gen as well. Once again, its for the MR2. The owner's name is Charles. Here is his email:

fstasfq@hotmail.com

Otherwise, you will have to do it yourself or pay a performance shop custom fabricate one for you. Good luck.

- Jay.

his turbo might not be BB, but it has a smaller exhaust housing and almost 50% more displacment than a 3sgte. its going to be a lot of lag.

and on that car, its not lag, its the calm before the storm. the car looses traction when you give it gas cruizing in 4th.
