Bought my 94 GT with about 145k on the clock about 3 years ago....now I have about 170k miles on it. Spent about $900 last year getting the leak fixed, as well as a good tune up, and replaced an axle because the CV joint was bad a few years ago. And thats it.

Now, I just change the oil regularly, and drive back and forth to college everyday and not a single problem since.

167K and no problems. The only real problem is that people tend to be tards and vandalize the car frown.gif

133k Still runs well, although I don't drive it everyday so it's hard for me to know for sure. Eh, still runs fine with exception to the school messing it up once but that wasn't the car's fault.

I think I've got the record. I've got a 1994 GT Hatchback with 247,000 miles on it. This is what I've had to replace so far:

Timing belt and water pump every 60,000 (just preventative maintenance)
Starter motor and solenoid (failed about 20 k miles ago)
both axle seals on the manual tranny (80 dollars each. one 10 k ago, and the other 2 weeks ago)
Left front wheel bearing and hub (2 weeks ago)
radiator (plastic reservoir on top started to crack due to aging plastic)
Stock air intake hose (cracked about 10k ago)
new clutch at 184k

I think that's it. I change the oil every 3k and let the car warm up for at least 2 minutes before driving it in the morning, and it's still going strong. Most people do more maintenance than what I listed on a car with one quarter of the number of miles I've got on mine, so you've got no worries.

the 6gen celica has one of the higest mechanical reliability ratings out of any existanting car. so it usually gets a 10/10 for reliability over 4 years

dont see to many cars today or in the past that have that.

mine has 112, i thought that was really high. but i guess for a car that's almost 11 years old it's not so bad. but just yesterday my brakes started to make this noise.. grr

165k miles. Timing belts, brakes, struts, spark plugs and wires, a caliper, clutch.... These cars are some of the best ever made for reliability.

Just hit 250,147 miles. Only things that have been replaced over these wonderful 11 years are water pump, cap and rotor plugs, spark plugs, timing belt, radiator (i accidentally cracked it), and IAC
