Hi,
I recently put in a Pioneer HU in my car, and there was a wire coming out of the back that said "Power Antenna". Well, I thought that the wire coming from inside my dash that was for the antenna was some sort of plug shaped wire.. If you know what I mean.

Well, I tried touching that connector to the bare wire of the wire coming out from the stereo, and it did not work.

How can I get my antenna functioning??

Yes, I did try searching for it but I couldnt find anything. So please dont yell at me, just help me out.

Thanks,
Rob

The big fat wire with the connector is your antenna. It get hooked into the back of your hu. There should be a place it fits into. In the stock wire harness look for 2 wires one is pink/blue and one is black/red. Connect the blue power antenna wire to both of the wires in the stock harness. They both need the 12vdc + from the radio to activate the stock antenna to got up.
