Ok, i been getting into the pic thing with my friends taking pics of our cars at night.
he has LEDs under his car, i don't but i want the pics to show up better.
i have an Olympus C-700.
i don't really know how to get into really using it.
i just turn it on and tak a pic.
i heard adjusting the shutterspeed can help with taking pics at night?
i don't know if i have that on mine cause i lost all the info.
i moved out, moved back in and somhow lost it in the process.
on my dial i have A/S/M

i played around with it a lil tonight taking pics of my R/C Celica with underbodies. i got some bright pics in a dark room, but they r kinda fuzzy/

is there a site i can get on and learn more about these features?
How to use them?
When to use them?

Here r a couple pics i took.

1. Use a tripod
2. Use Shutter Speed Priority Mode; its on the Olympus C700 but doesn't give you nearly enough time. I think it maxes out at 2 seconds. To get really clear awesome looking night shots with proper exposure, it should be around 5.

For the shutter time, I'd factor in how much light is already in the area. If there's a lot of street light around, I'd think with 5 seconds, there'd be a lot of light bleeding in the picture.

Cody, that'd be in full manual mode, I told him to go shutter speed priori; the camera will automatically iris down if there's too much light.

Phat,
You can download manuals for free on the makers website.
