I just got a celica and I have noticed a slight problem frown.gif. The previous owner probably got into an accident and knocked the front bumper out of place or something.

Here are some pictures to show u what I am talking about.

The front high beam with the gap:

Here also shows that the hood those not line up properly:

These two show the damage on the same side of the misaligned light:

What would be the best option for me to take? I was thinking of removing the front bumper during the weekends and hopefully readjusting the light? Is that possible?

mmm nice projektors smile.gif doesnt look like that huge of a problem tho.... very minimal damages from what i could see, cept the gash. on the first image i didnt know u had projectors and thought u had some kind of inner-light combustion lol... oh and dont bother with the bumper alignment... the plastic is pretty much warped and can do much about that.. i got it on my rear bumper (warped plastic)

the lights are bolted to the upper frame. They generally don't move. You might want to realign the bumper or try to pull out the frame the lights are bolted to.

Finally took out the bumper to see what was wrong.
Well, the high beam is mounted by 3 bolts. two to the upper frame and one to the lower metal piece.

The lower metal piece was bent/out of shape frown.gif , almost certain it was from one of the damage shown. People who have taken their front bumpers off should know what metal piece I am talking about

What i did was just pull the metal piece back out and well, it is sitting much better now... Do you guys reckon I should go ask if i could purchase that metal piece off the dealer?

Another thing i notice is that, most of the nuts and bolts seems to be rusted....especially the ones on the bottom holding the protective liner? Will probably go to a local hardware store, find the right bots and swap them out and also bring it to Toyota for a full check.
