 How to tell if an E51 Tranny has LSD? |

I know for a fact that not all AE101 E51 trannies are equipped with LSD. Is there a way to tell if a tranny has a LSD without tearing it apart?

Stick in some axles and turn? I read somewhere that when you look through the diff, if there is a hexagonal shaped piece of metal across the hole, then it has LSD... I'd trust the axle method more though...

Well with the E153 trannies you can look inside where the axles goes, and if theres a bar blocking your view of the other side, it has LSD. I dont know if its the same and it requires taking out the oil and axle.
