Okay, I'm beginning the installation of my Premier DEH-P770MP HeadUnit. Everything's going good so far. I'm following the stuff on InstallDoctor. I got the Wiring Harness Adapter and all. I have one question though... Theres two wires: Orange/White stripe and Orange/Black stripe. The cables are the Negative and Positive Dimmer. According to the Head Unit, the cable says "ILL". InstallDoctor, in bold says "DO NOT USE". I don't know what this is for and if I should hook it up... Please gimme some input, guys. Thanks!

If you want your head unit to dim when you turn your parking lights on, then hook up the positive illumination wire to a wire that gets +12 volts only when your parking lights are on.

ok cool, but if i dont hook it up, itll work fine, right? what would you suggest. because the harness has two dimmer wires positive and negative, and the cd player only has one, the positive.

Yeah, you'll be fine if you don't hook up the dimmer wires.
