I love Nascar! I know a lot of you will say its just boring cuz they go in a circle for like a billion laps it feels like but I just love it. Well ok I love the last 30 laps of it. :-) This weekend was great to see Carl Edwards (a rookie) win both races! Hehe I love his signature back flip now when he wins! I hope when i have a son i have money to get him into racing of some sorts hopefully Rallying or Nascar. But both take money!


Anyone else a secret fan of Nascar?

I used to be semi-interested in it...until I witnessed a real race. I got the chance to go to Road America for an American Le Mans race. Those are some of the most hi-tech cars I've ever seen. Plus, they can turn right...

ok, ill come out of te closet too... if i see its on tv ill watch the last 20 laps or so. Never been to a race though. But i do perfer rally or touring car races instead. I dont mind that they just go in a big circle, but it is boring to watch for a long time.

From what I've heard, Nascar fans say Jeff Gordon is a crybaby- and he does whine, but its now becoming a fad not to like him, ppl really dont have a reason they just wanna dislike someone, and he's good, and he's not a the son of a driver whose already got millions. He actually worked his way up. I dont have any problem with him.

Hmmm, whats so interesting about cars going around the same track? except the crashes, maybe i dont understand the strategy behind it

I prefer WRC and Dacar, seems these test man and machine more and more things can go wrong, which is much more interesting.

i have a nascar sticker on the back of my truck..
but it was there when i bought it so HA.
nascar is boring my grandfather loves it.. enough said.
Now what would be cool is if while on the track they let loose like 600 Cats...

Then by rights you should hate alot of people. Even Christians make mistakes...part of their faith is forgiveness and repentance. So I think hating him for a mistake he made is like me hating you for one you made...not that I know you enough to hate you.

Oh...and I watch Nascar every now and then since my favorite drivers are Jeff Gordon ( ) and Rusty Wallace.

I think he was talking to the original poster. I never liked Jeff Gordon because he looks like a sissy and drives a rainbow car. How could anyone LIKE him? Richard Petty is the king. Dale Earnhardt sucked. I still have a big old STP 43 plastic car from when I was a kid.

My dads from Kansas so that counts for something. :-) But he loves all types of racing mainly just Formula 1, Le Mans and Nascar though! He used to race cars up in Alaska. awww i love my dad! hes the best! he washed my car over the weekend cuz I had a meet to hit up and he said he will do it the weekend I get my wisdom teeth out! I hope its true what they say - girls go for men like their father. Well i obviously havent so far but maybe I will settle down with one who is!

I've never watched NASCAR much on the tv, but have been to a couple races. Being there is completely different and is much easier handle the constant circles. Having a favorite driver and following the soap opera is usually the most addicting factor, so I've heard.

I love F1 and other Indy races. Kinda sucks I only have 5 channels on my TV. I'd kill to have Speedworld.
