Well...the tranny on the Celica gave out and my parents are pretty against me putting money into it. In fact they talked of selling it and selling the Grand Am we own to get me a newer car.
I have very few options...they are:
Get a newish or NEW car
Get the automatic tranny fixed, and keep or sell
Take out a loan and fix the car up (kit, paint, suspension, tranny) with a 5 speed

So right now I want to know what you guys think of relatively new cars (2001+) for about 16 grand. Anyone? I don't really care, two doors or four, slightly sporty. I'm 18 so anything extremely sporty would murder insurance. If you have ideas, I'd like to know. If I could get a tC for under 17 I might try that.
