? about 3s-gte Options

For those of u who know or have done the swap...how fast is this engine as in compared to ....a say stock mustang gt from either a stop or roll or any other car for that matter ? im just curious

stock for stock, it will own a mustang gt, especially from a rolling start. your car will be lighter and have only a slight difference in horsepower

however, if the owner of the mustang knows what he is doing and mods his car right, you must never underestimate any v8 car, they all have the capability for high amounts of power. my cousin used to have a 2000 gt and it was FAST, he had the tranny replaced with a close ratio tranny and had a borla exhaust and ran no cats plus a CAI and ecu upgrade

thats cool i just wanted to know what i would be able to beat and stuff id be happy with that but its still gonna be a while and im also tryin to save for a supra although im still gonna keep and mod the celi also we will see

i hate mustangs..there are too many of them and they always get beat down here at the street races ive seen some pretty pimped out GTs and cobras that were fast as hell get spanked but i hardly ever see like a tricked WS6 get beat or an SS camaro

you won't be able to always beat a mustang GT, it's not a guaranteed win against anything. hell, you could have a 3sgte, and some punk could beat you with a 100 shot of nitrous. anyway, mustang gts are fast. it will all depend on the driver. other than that, it will be close, yes you are lighter, but GTs have RWD. they have 260 HP... but 302 lb/ft of torque. fast car.
