hi there i've just blown my 5fe motor in my gen 6 and wondering is it possible to put a 20v corrolla engine in it. How hard is it and is it possible to use the same 5 speed gear box in it. Also whats the major concern when doing the coversion if the conversion is possilbe.

If you had the 5s to start with I would look for a 3sge engine to swap in.

Yeah, in your situation, a 3S-GE is an easier swap. Three people that I know of have done the 20V swap, but only on STs. You'd need new mounts, a new tranny, new shift linkage cables I believe, and a lot more.

the 3s-ge is as hard to swap as a 3s-gte it's all up to you...
