I had 10" perfects in tubes a long time ago. They hit damn hard. The key is getting a very high power amp to reach their full potencial.

i personally dont like audiobahn. my friend has them, and theyre loud but sound like ****. i highly recommend Eclipse subs. my brother's eclipse subs are ~ 7 yrs old now and still pound like a mother while having the best SQ ive ever heard.

eclipse subs are very nice, clear and loud. my experience with audiobahn is they are more for show cars, as most of them (especially the bandpass box ones) come with neons already on them. sure they hit hard, but they still are slightly muddy. my all time favorite is a pair of alpine R 12"s, those things beat so dang hard, especially if you individually amp each one =)
But as always, in the end it comes down to price...if you get a sweet discount from circuit city's audiobahn's i say go with them...if you have the money...i say go for the JL W7s lol but for the money, i think alpine R's beat the hardest (you can find one 12" for about 100 bucks on ebay)

I agree, my cousin has a Type R and it hit really hard for one sub in a sealed box.
