ct26 intake/outtake hole size? Options

for a twin entry ct26 does any one know the size of the hole that sucks in air and the hole that outputs the air? i need to know so i can get the right size couplers.

i'll like to see your progress on the 5sfte project urbandork~ take pics.. post it up.. ok to answer your question, the hole that sucks in air is 2.75" and depends on what intake piping ya gonna use, get the correct size couplers. and for the hole that outputs the air, it's 2.25". got this info from manny. just order the couplers and clamps.

i think the output hole is more like 2in cause i know i had to get a reducer for my 2.25in ic piping.

art, why dont you have a reducer going from your IC piping to your IC ?

i did. i bought 2 2.5-2.25 reducers for that.

youre still convinced i have 2.5in piping, hahaha

so its 2 outake (presure side) and 2.75 intake (filter side?). this has been backed up by a post on alltrac.net forums.

is there a term for the two ends?

Also i was wondering how should i set up my intake side. Does it matter the length the pipe is? OR what size. Would i want 2.75 inch pipe or larger? 3in?

urban, most people who make theryre own intakes just use 3" because its kinda hard to find a filter thats 2.75"
as for the turbo outlet, if you guys really wanna split hairs about it, its over 2" but under 2.25. its metric.
