I was wondering if anyone knew the specs or could tell me a good source to find the specs of the 1986 325es, I ran one this weekend and beat it in every gear. I googled it and the only thing I could find were parts sites and automotive.com. Some info on it is it had a 2.7 Litre inline 6 with a 5 speed. For those that are wanting to call B/S I believe it's on video, easternpiro1 is checking if the guy shot it.

I figured that much, the guy went with me easternpiro1 and a few others to the drag strip. He was talking about the turbo Integra he beat on the way to Rockingham. Piro was trying to tell him before we ran tha my Celica wasn't as slow as his ST, but the guy wanted to find out, we did a dead stop to about 50, then went up about a mile and did a 45mph roll out.

Its basically a 3 series with a 5 series engine, I thought it would be kinda badass but I guess not.

I like the E30s ever since it was my first car, if I had the cash I'd score an E30 M3.

This could easily satisfy my needs:

This car had that same look except it was white and the inside lights were yellow. It also had fogs and black wheels.

the E in the 325es stands for economy

it has the 2.5l engine from the factory with lower redline and less power

slow car. my friend has an 88 325is, its slow, my other friend has a 88 325i vert and it is slow.

i dont doubt that you beat one, especially considering their power from the factory and their age.

I knew what it had in it, I didn't know the power levels. Like before it was a 2.7L inline six, the E version I believe was the four.

No, the 325es is a 2.7l 6cylinder engine from the 5 series, engine code M20b27. The 325is used the M20b25 (2.5L) and was much more powerful. The es redlines at about 4500 and at 121hp theres not much to it.

He seemed quick when he ran the ST, Neon, and Golf. I figured he would have at least kept up with me.
