when u drive around and apply vrakes, the rust should go away on the surface of the rotor.

I've been doing that for the past 3 days soft and hard braking. I just hear the pad grinding on the rust.

I dont know i didnt change the rotors just changed pads. I had the car for about two years never changed the rotors. But this didnt happen before until I got my pads done and they resurfaced my rotors.

yea i'd probably go down to advanced auto or pepboys whatever
and buy a new pair of rotors then...i've never agreed with turning rotors anyways...
rotors arn't that expensive either so thats the best idea right now probably

how long does rotors suppose to last. I was looking through my car and the previous owner changed the rotors 3 years ago and it cost him 100 each.

It could be that your pad on one side isn't touching the rotor all the way. Does it look the same on both sides? IF its only one side, might be a caliper problem, or the rotor is too thin after turning. (Im just trying to come up with why it might do that. Im not a mechanic)

Yes, anything is better than Autozone parts. Seriously, Autozone sucks. I go to Napa, Advanced, and some internet companies.
